The short version
Boutique Console is an app for tailoring shops and boutiques, made by Parichaya Tech Solutions, a sole proprietorship.
- We keep your shop’s records so the app can work: your customers, their measurements, orders, payments and photos.
- We do not show ads, we do not sell data, and the app has no analytics or tracking tools in it.
- The app does not read your location or your phone’s contacts.
- Your shop’s data belongs to your shop. You can delete the shop and your account from inside the app at any time.
This policy explains what the app collects, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted. It applies to the Boutique Console app on Android, iOS and the web, and to this website.
Who we are, and whose data this is
“We”, “us” and “Parichaya” mean Parichaya Tech Solutions, a sole proprietorship based at 1st Cross, Madeshwara Nagar, Herohalli, Magadi Main Road, Bengaluru 560091, India. “You” means the shop owner who signs up for Boutique Console.
Two kinds of personal data pass through the app, and the roles are different for each:
- Your own details as the account holder (your name, email, mobile number). For these, Parichaya decides how they are used and is responsible for them.
- Your customers’ details that you enter into the app. Your shop collects these and decides what to keep. Parichaya only stores and processes them on your shop’s behalf, to run the app for you. We do not use your customers’ data for anything of our own, and we never contact your customers except to deliver the WhatsApp messages your shop sends.
Because your shop is responsible for its customers’ data, you must have your customers’ consent (or another lawful reason) to record their details and to message them, as required by India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and WhatsApp’s own rules.
What we collect
When you sign up and sign in
- Your name, your email address and a password (we store only what Google’s sign-in service needs to check it, never the password in plain text).
- Your mobile number, which we verify with a one-time code sent by SMS.
- Your shop’s name, address, contact details, logo, GST number, UPI ID and invoice settings, if you add them.
What you record about your shop’s customers
- Names, phone numbers, email addresses and addresses.
- Birthdays and anniversaries, if you add them (used for reminders and greetings you choose to send).
- Body measurements and notes about garments and designs.
- Orders, trial and delivery dates, and the status of each order.
- Payments, advances, balances and refunds.
- Tags and notes you add, such as how often a customer visits.
Your shop’s money records
- Cash and bank account entries, expenses and the reports built from them.
Photos
- Photos of garments, fabric, designs, bills and customers that you take with the camera or pick from your photos inside the app. The app asks for camera or photo access only when you choose to add a photo, and uploads only the photos you pick.
WhatsApp messages
- When your shop sends an order update, reminder or offer, the message goes out through the Boutique Console WhatsApp Business account, provided by Meta. We keep a record of each message: who it went to, which template was used, when, and whether it was sent or failed.
The devices you sign in on
- To enforce your plan’s device limit, we keep a record of each device you sign in on: an ID the app creates for that device, the device’s name (its brand and model on Android, or the browser and operating system on the web), whether it is a phone, tablet or computer, and when it was added and last used.
What we do not collect
- No location. No access to your phone’s contacts, calls or SMS inbox.
- No advertising ID, no analytics, no tracking or crash-reporting tools from third parties.
- No card or bank details for your subscription. Plans are paid to our team directly, outside the app.
How we use it
We use the data only to provide Boutique Console to your shop:
- to sign you in, keep your account secure and apply your plan’s device limit;
- to store and show your shop’s customers, orders, measurements, payments and photos on every device you sign in on;
- to send the WhatsApp messages your shop chooses to send, and show you whether each one was sent;
- to work out your plan, trial days and usage (for example, how many messages are left this month);
- to answer you when you contact support, and to tell you about important changes to the service.
We do not sell personal data, rent it, or use it for advertising. We do not use your customers’ data to build profiles or to contact them for our own purposes.
How we keep it safe
- All data travels between the app and our servers encrypted (HTTPS / TLS). Google also encrypts it on its servers.
- Each shop’s records are walled off from every other shop’s by server-side access rules. Only the shop’s owner, and a small number of Parichaya staff who run the platform, can reach them.
- Our staff console does not show a shop’s orders or customers. Our team looks at a shop’s data only when you ask us to help with a problem, or when the law requires it.
No system is perfectly secure, but if we ever learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your shop’s data for as long as your account is open, so it is there every time you sign in. If your trial or plan ends, your data is kept safe and is not deleted unless you ask.
Deleting your shop and account
- In the app: open Settings, then Sign-in, then Delete shop and account, and type your shop’s name to confirm. See how to delete your account for the full steps.
- By contacting us: email, call or WhatsApp us from the mobile number registered to your shop, and we will delete it for you.
Once you ask, we delete the shop’s data and your login from our live systems within 30 days (usually at once, when you use the in-app button). Copies can remain in Google’s encrypted backups for up to 30 more days before they are overwritten; we do not use or restore them in that time. The one exception is our own GST invoices for subscriptions you paid us: we keep those for as long as GST law requires.
Your rights
You can see and correct your own details and your shop’s records in the app at any time. You can also ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you;
- correct or complete it;
- delete it (see above);
- explain how a complaint about your data can be taken further.
If one of your shop’s customers asks to see, correct or delete their details, you can show or correct them in the app; to erase a customer completely, contact us and we will help. If a customer contacts us directly, we will pass the request to your shop.
Children
Boutique Console is a business tool for shop owners and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for people under 18. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
A shop may record measurements or orders for a child who is its customer; in that case the shop must have the parent’s or guardian’s consent.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change matters, for example a new kind of data or a new service provider, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
